Printer specifications are not an endorsement of an unverified product or spool. Always re-check the manufacturer page before buying filament for a critical job.
What to verify before you buy filament
- Enclosure helps with ABS/ASA — still follow ventilation and filtration guidance.
- Stock stainless nozzle is not ideal for abrasive CF/GF filaments; hardened upgrades are called out by Bambu before regular fiber printing.
- Confirm AMS generation (AMS vs AMS lite) — P1S does not use AMS lite.
- Compare filament drying needs for PETG/ABS/ASA/TPU before long jobs.
