Ordering and delivery
- Do you hold stock?
- No. We purchase each item from a third-party retailer after you pay, and arrange delivery to you. We aim to place that order within 24 hours of payment, which is a processing target rather than a dispatch or delivery promise.
- How long will delivery take?
- It depends on the retailer we source from and on your address, so we do not publish a single figure we could not stand behind. If your project has a deadline, ask us before you pay and we will give you an estimate for that specific item.
- What does the price include?
- US delivery is included in the listed product price. There is no separate shipping charge added at checkout. Prices are in US dollars.
- Can I order more than one spool at a time?
- Each checkout on the site purchases one spool. For multiple spools or a repeating order, use the bulk order route and we will quote the whole thing as one order.
- What happens if the item cannot be sourced?
- We contact you and refund it. We will not substitute a different product without your agreement, even where the substitute looks equivalent on paper.
Products and compatibility
- Will this filament work with my printer?
- Check the diameter first, because that is the specification that makes a spool unusable rather than merely suboptimal. Then check the spool dimensions against your holder or material system. Where we have a verified record for your printer and that exact product variant, we show it. Where we do not, the status stays unknown rather than defaulting to yes. How we check compatibility explains what the label covers.
- Why do you list so few colours?
- The listing set is narrower than the range our manufacturers publish. If you want a colour, diameter or spool weight that is not on the shop page, ask. We can often source it, and for volume it is the normal route.
- Are your specifications your own measurements?
- No, and we are explicit about that. Diameter tolerance, weight and temperature figures are the manufacturer numbers for that formulation, linked to their source on the listing. We do not present manufacturer guidance as our own test result.
- Do you sell refills, or spools?
- Each listing states its format. A refill needs a reusable spool you already own, so the two are not interchangeable. Our guide to spool size, weight and printer fit covers the difference.
Returns and support
- Can I return filament?
- Contact us before returning anything. The correct return destination depends on which retailer sourced the item, so a package sent back on your own initiative may not reach anywhere useful. Do not send products to our registered business address.
- My order arrived damaged. What now?
- Contact us with your Stripe payment confirmation and a description of the damage. Keep the packaging until the claim is settled.
- How do I check my order status?
- Contact us with your Stripe payment confirmation. Keep that email, since it is the reference that identifies your order.
The business
- Who operates FilamentBridge?
- FilamentBridge is operated by Seventh Capital LLC, registered at 131 Continental Drive, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, United States. The about page covers what the company does and does not do.
- Is checkout secure?
- Payment is processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe infrastructure and are not handled by this site. Never send payment card details or passwords to us by email.
- Do you manufacture your own filament?
- No. We are an independent retailer and we are not affiliated with the manufacturers whose products we list. How we source and verify filament sets out what that means in practice.
- How do I get in touch?
- Through the contact page, which also carries our registered business details.
